About me
I’m a specialist dyslexia teacher with years of experience as a classroom teacher, SEN coordinator, and dyslexia consultant. I help primary school children with dyslexia and other learning differences build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive.
Many children struggle to read and write fluently in a busy classroom, and extra effort alone often leads to frustration and low self-esteem. I provide one-to-one, evidence-based teaching tailored to each child’s unique learning style, using the Orton-Gillingham approach, widely recognised as the gold standard for dyslexia.
I also work closely with families, giving practical strategies to support learning at home so progress continues beyond the lesson. At My Amazing Mind, my mission is to ensure that children with amazing minds are never left behind — and that families feel confident and supported every step of the way.
If your child is struggling with reading or writing, book a free consultation call to explore how I can help.
“I cannot recommend Zoe enough! Although the focus was on Isabelle's dyslexia, her support with teaching me ways to look at and deal with a child’s mental health and the day to day challenges we face was amazing, Zoe goes above and beyond to offer personal support tailored to your child and you.”

“I had a parent consultation with his teacher yesterday and it was awesome. She said his short story he did the other day was brilliant and instead of loads of words on the page it flowed properly. He’s getting 10/10 for his spellings and is asking to practise them the way Zoe showed us. His reading has shot up and he’s now reading at an age 11 level. I can’t thank you enough.”
